Why run First Aid at Work training in Nottingham
Nottingham is the commercial and cultural heart of the East Midlands — a city of around 330,000 people with two large universities, a major NHS trust, a thriving Creative Quarter, advanced-manufacturing and life-sciences employers at the Nottingham Science Park, and significant logistics operations along the M1 and around East Midlands Gateway. Training your team locally — at our Cinderhill venue or on-site at your premises — keeps staff travel time and downtime to a minimum, while still delivering a fully, HSE-recognised course accepted by employers throughout the UK. Local delivery means a quicker start, less disruption, and a course built around your real workplace risks.
As a major economic centre in the East Midlands, Nottingham has a diverse business landscape spanning retail, life sciences, and professional services. Employers across the city have a legal duty under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 to ensure appropriate first aid provision, making trained personnel essential.

Getting here
Nottingham is served by Nottingham railway station (national services to London St Pancras in around 1h 50m, Sheffield, Birmingham and Leeds) and by an extensive Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram network connecting the City Centre with Hucknall, Phoenix Park, Toton and Clifton. Our Cinderhill venue (NG8 6AT) is about a 7-minute walk from the Phoenix Park Interchange tram stop and tram Park & Ride. By road, Nottingham sits on the M1 (Junctions 24, 25, 26 and 27), with the A52, A46 (Fosse Way), A60 and A453 providing fast links to Derby, Leicester, Mansfield, Newark and East Midlands Airport.
Onsite first aid training in Nottingham — workplace EFAW for your team
We run onsite first aid training across Nottingham and the surrounding area — your venue, your team, your schedule.
Our trainers regularly deliver on-site First Aid at Work courses across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire — the City Centre and Creative Quarter, the Lace Market, Beeston, West Bridgford, Hucknall, Bulwell, Arnold, Long Eaton, Carlton, Clifton, Ilkeston, Eastwood, Stapleford, Newark, Mansfield, Nottingham Science Park (NG7), Colwick Industrial Estate, East Midlands Gateway and the M1 corridor (Junctions 24–27). The 3-day First Aid at Work course is the right choice for higher-risk workplaces — advanced manufacturing, life-sciences laboratories, warehousing and distribution along the M1, construction projects, food production and large healthcare settings — where the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate is not enough under your HSE first-aid needs assessment.
