Why run First Aid at Work training in Birmingham
Birmingham is the UK's second city and a national transport interchange — sitting at the meeting point of the M5, M6, M42 and M40 with three mainline stations (New Street, Snow Hill, Moor Street). Training your team locally at the British Red Cross Eastside Rooms (B7 4BL) keeps travel short whether delegates are coming in from the city centre, the M42 corridor, Solihull or the Black Country, and removes the cost and disruption of sending staff out to London or Manchester. The venue is a 9-minute walk from Curzon Street and one stop on the West Midlands Metro from Snow Hill.
As the commercial and industrial heart of the West Midlands, Birmingham supports a vast and diverse economy. From the advanced manufacturing sites in Castle Bromwich to the professional services firms in the Colmore Business District, businesses have a legal duty under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981. This legislation requires employers to make adequate first-aid provisions, making certified training essential for workplaces across the city.

Getting here
The British Red Cross Eastside Rooms (Woodcock Street, B7 4BL) is a 9-minute walk from Curzon Street, around 12 minutes from Birmingham New Street and Moor Street, and one Metro stop from Snow Hill. By car it is 5 minutes from the A38(M) Aston Expressway and easily reached from the M6 (Junction 6, Spaghetti Junction) and the M42. Aston University pay-and-display is one minute away and several NCP and Q-Park sites sit within a 5-minute walk.
Onsite first aid training in Birmingham — workplace EFAW for your team
We run onsite first aid training across Birmingham and the surrounding area — your venue, your team, your schedule.
Our trainers regularly deliver on-site First Aid at Work courses across Brindleyplace, the Colmore Business District, Digbeth, the Jewellery Quarter, the Mailbox, Edgbaston, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital campus, Aston, Hams Hall, Birmingham Business Park, Longbridge, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Dudley, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton and Coventry. The 3-day First Aid at Work course is the right choice for higher-risk workplaces — automotive plants and JLR-supplier sites along the M42, warehousing and distribution hubs at Hams Hall and the Birmingham Business Park, manufacturing lines, hospitality kitchens, healthcare settings and large offices — where the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate is not enough under your HSE first-aid needs assessment.
