Why run First Aid at Work training in Edinburgh

Edinburgh's economy spans Scotland's financial services heartland, a world-renowned tourism and festival sector, major universities, NHS Lothian, and growing logistics hubs around Edinburgh Airport and the M8. Choosing a local EFAW provider means your first-aid training reflects the real risks your staff face — whether that's a medical emergency in a busy Princes Street hotel, an incident at a university laboratory, or a workplace accident at a warehouse near the Gyle. Our trainers know the city and the Lothians, delivering recognised, practical courses that keep your organisation compliant and your people confident.

As Scotland capital, Edinburgh has a prestigious, service-led economy centred on finance, tourism and a rapidly growing tech sector. Under UK law, all employers have a legal duty to provide for the immediate care of staff, making first-aid training a vital part of business in the city.

Getting here

Our Edinburgh training centre is located at 6 Redheughs Rigg, EH12 9DQ, in the South Gyle area just west of the city centre and close to Edinburgh Airport. The nearest train station is South Gyle, a 15-minute walk away, with regular services to Edinburgh Waverley, Haymarket, and Glasgow Queen Street. Edinburgh Trams stop at Gyle Centre, an 11-minute walk from the venue, providing a direct link to the city centre and the airport. Local bus services run along Redheughs Avenue, just 6 minutes away on foot. For drivers, the venue is easily accessed from the M8 (J1), the A720 City Bypass, and the A90, with paid parking available nearby via YourParkingSpace and at the HSBC car park. Delegates travelling from Livingston, Glasgow, or Fife will find the South Gyle location particularly convenient.

Onsite first aid training in Edinburgh — workplace EFAW for your team

We run onsite first aid training across Edinburgh and the surrounding area — your venue, your team, your schedule.

Our trainers regularly deliver on-site First Aid at Work courses across Edinburgh and the Lothians — the city centre, the Financial District, Edinburgh Park, South Gyle, Leith, Fort Kinnaird, Straiton, Sighthill, Newbridge, Queensferry, Musselburgh, Dalkeith, Penicuik, Bonnyrigg, Livingston and Dunfermline. The 3-day First Aid at Work course is the right choice for higher-risk workplaces — life-sciences laboratories, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution near the M8 and Edinburgh Airport, construction projects, large hospitality and healthcare settings — where the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate is not enough under your HSE first-aid needs assessment.
