Why run First Aid at Work training in Cardiff
Cardiff is the capital of Wales and the commercial, media and public sector heart of the South Wales region, with major NHS, Welsh Government, university, BBC Cymru Wales, financial services, retail and hospitality employers concentrated in the city centre, Cardiff Bay and the M4 corridor. Training Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) locally — at the Mercure Cardiff North on Circle Way East (CF23 9XF), just off Junction 30 of the M4 — keeps staff inside the CF postcode area, saves cross-border travel time, and lets us deliver on-site closed courses across the wider South Wales region for groups of 6 or more.
As the capital of Wales, Cardiff boasts a dynamic economy ranging from major public services and financial institutions to a burgeoning media sector. For all Welsh businesses, fulfilling the first-aid duties mandated by the HSE is a crucial legal obligation to protect both staff and the public.

Getting here
Cardiff is one of the best-connected cities in Wales. Cardiff Central is a major rail hub with direct services to London Paddington (around 1h50), Bristol, Manchester and the South West, while Cardiff Queen Street serves the Valleys lines. By road the city sits directly on the M4, with the A470 running north into the Valleys and the A4232 (Peripheral Distributor Road) wrapping around the south and west. The Mercure Cardiff North training venue is just off Junction 30 of the M4 with free on-site parking, and the Queenwood bus stop is a 5-minute walk away.
Onsite first aid training in Cardiff — workplace EFAW for your team
We run onsite first aid training across Cardiff and the surrounding area — your venue, your team, your schedule.
Our trainers regularly deliver on-site First Aid at Work courses across Cardiff and South Wales — Cardiff Bay, Central Square, Cardiff Business Park, Pontprennau, Llanishen, Splott, Grangetown, Canton, Penarth, Barry, Caerphilly, Pontypridd, Llantrisant, Cwmbran, Bridgend and Newport. The 3-day First Aid at Work course is the right choice for higher-risk workplaces — manufacturing and engineering sites, warehousing and distribution along the M4, construction projects, food production, large venues and healthcare settings — where the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate is not enough under your HSE first-aid needs assessment.
