Why renew your First Aid at Work certificate in Manchester with Brity
Manchester sits at the centre of a regional economy of more than 2.8 million people and is the busiest UK city outside London. The compliance burden on local employers is significant: NHS trusts, universities, manufacturers, event venues and the airport all need a steady supply of certified first aiders. Choosing a Manchester training provider keeps travel time and downtime to a minimum, and means your team trains close to the workplace they will be delivering first aid in.
Manchester is the largest city in North West England and the commercial heart of Greater Manchester, home to over 550,000 residents and a daytime workforce that swells well past one million. The city centre concentrates a dense mix of healthcare, education, hospitality, professional services, construction and creative industries — every one of them legally required to maintain trained first aiders under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

Getting here
Manchester is served by three mainline rail stations (Piccadilly, Victoria, Oxford Road), the Metrolink tram network across all ten boroughs, and the M60 orbital motorway. Manchester Airport is the third busiest in the UK. Our city-centre venue is within 10 minutes' walk of Manchester Piccadilly station.
Onsite first aid training in Manchester — workplace EFAW for your team
We run onsite first aid training across Manchester and the surrounding area — your venue, your team, your schedule.
Our trainers regularly deliver on-site First Aid at Work Requalification courses across Trafford Park, Salford Quays, MediaCityUK, Manchester Airport and Airport City, Wythenshawe Hospital, Sharston Industrial Area, Stockport, Oldham, Bolton, Bury and Rochdale. The 2-day Requalification course is the right choice for first aiders refreshing the FAW certificate they earned 3 years ago at higher-risk Greater Manchester workplaces — manufacturing lines, warehouses, construction sites, engineering and food-production facilities, laboratories, large offices and venues where the HSE first-aid needs assessment still requires a fully qualified first aider on site.

About First Aid at Work Requalification training in Manchester
Our 2-day Manchester First Aid at Work Requalification course refreshes the full HSE-aligned first aid syllabus in 12 contact hours — half the classroom time of the original 3-day course — and issues a new certificate valid for 3 years. Public Requalification dates run from our central Manchester venue with easy reach from Trafford, Salford and Stockport via the M60, the Metrolink network and the city's rail hubs at Piccadilly, Victoria and Oxford Road. We also deliver on-site Requalification groups directly at your Manchester premises — Trafford Park and Trafford Park Village, the Salford Quays / MediaCityUK campus, Manchester Airport and Airport City, the Sharston Industrial Area, Wythenshawe and the south Manchester tech corridor, Oldham, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and the wider M62 logistics belt — which works particularly well when 6 or more of your existing first aiders are due to revalidate at the same time. The 2-day Requalification course is recognised as the correct refresher route for first aiders whose original FAW certificate was issued by any reputable training provider and is still in date, or within HSE's recommended 28-day grace period after expiry. Once that grace period has passed you'll need to repeat the full 3-day First Aid at Work course rather than the 2-day Requalification — we'll always check certificate dates before confirming a booking so you're placed on the correct course first time. Our Manchester Requalification courses are taught by the same instructor team that delivers our 3-day FAW courses, so the content stays HSE-aligned and the practical assessments mirror the scenarios your team will encounter back at site, with annual half-day refreshers recommended in between to keep skills sharp.
