Why renew your First Aid at Work certificate in Leeds with Brity
Leeds is the commercial capital of West Yorkshire and the second-largest financial and professional services centre in the UK outside London, with major NHS, university, legal, retail, hospitality and logistics employers concentrated in a compact city centre and a tight ring of business parks. Training Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) locally — at the British Red Cross Centre on Armley Road (LS12 2LB) — saves staff travel time, keeps people inside the LS postcode area, and lets us deliver on-site closed courses across the wider West Yorkshire region for groups of 6 or more.
Leeds is the primary economic centre of West Yorkshire and the wider Yorkshire and the Humber region. Its diverse economy, from financial and legal services to advanced manufacturing and retail, means a broad range of workplaces must meet their obligations under the Health & Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 by appointing trained first aiders.

Getting here
Leeds is one of the best-connected cities in the North. Leeds station is a major national rail hub with direct services from London King's Cross, Manchester, York, Sheffield, Newcastle and Edinburgh. By road the city sits at the meeting point of the M1, M62 and M621, with the A1(M) a short drive east via the A64. The Armley Road training venue is around 1.5 miles west of the city centre — easiest by frequent bus along Armley Road / Canal Road from Leeds City Bus Station, with free on-site parking for delegates arriving by car.
Onsite first aid training in Leeds — workplace EFAW for your team
We run onsite first aid training across Leeds and the surrounding area — your venue, your team, your schedule.
Our trainers regularly deliver on-site First Aid at Work Requalification courses across Wellington Place, Park Square, the LS1/LS2 retail and hospitality core, Thorpe Park Leeds (LS15), White Rose Office Park (LS11), Holbeck Urban Village, Hunslet, Stourton, Cross Green, Headingley, Horsforth, Pudsey, Morley, Rothwell, Garforth, Wetherby, Otley, Wakefield, Bradford and Harrogate. The 2-day Requalification course is the right choice for first aiders refreshing the FAW certificate they earned 3 years ago at higher-risk West Yorkshire workplaces — manufacturing lines, warehouses and distribution centres along the M1/M621/M62, NHS sites and laboratories, construction projects and large offices where the HSE first-aid needs assessment still requires a fully qualified first aider on site.

About First Aid at Work Requalification training in Leeds
Our 2-day Leeds First Aid at Work Requalification course refreshes the full HSE-aligned first aid syllabus in 12 contact hours — half the classroom time of the original 3-day course — and issues a new certificate valid for 3 years. Public Requalification dates run from our central Leeds venue with easy reach from Wellington Place, Park Square and the LS1/LS2 core via Leeds station, plus the M1, M621 and M62 for travel from Wakefield, Bradford, Huddersfield and Harrogate. We also deliver on-site Requalification groups directly at your Leeds premises — Wellington Place financial-services towers, Thorpe Park Leeds (LS15), White Rose Office Park (LS11), Holbeck Urban Village, the Hunslet / Stourton / Cross Green industrial belt, the LS6/LS7 hospital and university quarter, the M62 logistics corridor at Birstall and Morley, and out to Garforth, Rothwell and Pudsey — which works particularly well when 6 or more of your existing first aiders are due to revalidate at the same time. The 2-day Requalification course is recognised as the correct refresher route for first aiders whose original FAW certificate was issued by any reputable training provider and is still in date, or within HSE's recommended 28-day grace period after expiry. Once that grace period has passed you'll need to repeat the full 3-day First Aid at Work course rather than the 2-day Requalification — we'll always check certificate dates before confirming a booking so you're placed on the correct course first time. Our Leeds Requalification courses are taught by the same instructor team that delivers our 3-day FAW courses across West Yorkshire, so the content stays HSE-aligned and the practical assessments mirror the scenarios your team will encounter back at site, with annual half-day refreshers recommended in between to keep skills sharp.
