Why Train in Liverpool?
Liverpool sits at the heart of the Liverpool City Region — a regional economy of over 1.5 million people spanning the city, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens, Halton and the Wirral. The compliance burden on local employers is significant: NHS trusts, two universities, the Port of Liverpool, Jaguar Land Rover at Halewood, Liverpool ONE and the Albert Dock hospitality scene all need a steady supply of certified first aiders under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981. Choosing a Liverpool training provider keeps travel time and downtime to a minimum, and means your team trains close to the workplace they will be delivering first aid in.
As a major economic centre in North West England, Liverpool's diverse economy spans from global shipping and logistics to pioneering life sciences in the Knowledge Quarter. This breadth of commercial activity means businesses of all types must have an appropriate number of qualified first aiders to comply with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

Getting here
Liverpool is served by Liverpool Lime Street mainline station (direct intercity services to Manchester, Birmingham and London Euston) and the Merseyrail network through Liverpool Central, James Street and Moorfields. Road links include the M62, M57 and M58 motorways, and the Queensway and Kingsway tunnels under the Mersey to the Wirral. Liverpool John Lennon Airport sits at Speke to the south. Our city-centre venue is a short walk from Lime Street and within minutes of the Merseyrail underground stations.
Onsite first aid training in Liverpool — workplace EFAW for your team
We run onsite first aid training across Liverpool and the surrounding area — your venue, your team, your schedule.
On-site Paediatric First Aid delivery is available across the Liverpool City Region — Bootle, Crosby, Speke, Halewood, St Helens, Knowsley, Sefton, the Wirral, Birkenhead, Kirkby, Huyton and along the M62, M57 and M58 corridors — a fit for Merseyside nursery groups, primary schools and academy trusts, after-school and breakfast clubs, holiday-camp operators, larger childminder networks and corporate crèches. A closed on-site group is the most efficient route when 6 or more of your team need to renew their EYFS paediatric first aid certificate together.

About Paediatric First Aid training in Liverpool
Our 2-day Liverpool Paediatric First Aid course covers the full 12-hour syllabus for working with infants (under 1) and children (1 to puberty) and issues a certificate valid for 3 years. It is built around the paediatric first aid requirements set out in the EYFS Statutory Framework, so a nominated first aider can use it to evidence the qualification needed by Ofsted-registered nurseries, pre-schools and childminders across the Liverpool City Region. Public dates run from our central Liverpool venue with easy reach via Lime Street, Central and James Street stations and the Merseyrail network, plus the M62, M57, M58 and the Mersey Tunnels for staff travelling in from the Wirral, St Helens, Knowsley and Sefton. We also deliver on-site closed groups directly at your setting — city-centre nurseries, Bootle and Crosby, Speke and Halewood, St Helens, the Wirral, Birkenhead, Kirkby and Huyton — useful when a setting is opening, when several staff certificates fall due together, or when you're training a whole team in one go. Sessions are taught by paediatric-experienced instructors using realistic infant and child manikins, with practical scenarios covering an unresponsive baby, choking, febrile convulsions, anaphylaxis (including auto-injector use), asthma attacks, head injuries, burns and meningitis recognition. We are a recognised training provider; certificates are issued in the trained adult's name and can be added straight to your safeguarding file or Ofsted evidence pack. A short annual refresher between full 3-year renewals is recommended to keep skills current.
