First aid training across Greater Cambridge and surrounding areas
Our trainers run public Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid and Mental Health First Aid courses at central Cambridge venues throughout the year — with on-site delivery available anywhere across the wider region. Whether you're booking a single seat or training a whole team, you'll get a practical, HSE-aligned session led by an experienced instructor.
We support employers, schools, nurseries, charities and event organisers right across Greater Cambridge, from city-centre offices to industrial sites on the outskirts. On-site team training keeps your people in their own environment, cuts travel time to zero and works out significantly cheaper per person than sending staff to public courses — ideal for groups of six or more.
Why run First Aid at Work training in Cambridge
Cambridge is a global hub for life sciences, technology and academic research, with employers ranging from biotech start-ups on Granta Park and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus through to colleges, language schools and creative agencies in the historic centre. Under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 every Cambridge employer must complete a first-aid needs assessment — for low-risk offices, labs with good engineering controls and educational settings a one-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate is normally sufficient, while higher-hazard sites typically need the three-day FAW. Training locally at our Holiday Inn Cambridge venue in Impington (CB24 9PH), just off the A14 at Histon, keeps researchers and office staff close to the workplace and produces an recognised course recognised by the HSE for three years.
Cambridge is a global centre for innovation, with a unique economic landscape dominated by science, technology and research. Within these highly specialised workplaces, fulfilling the legal first-aid duties set by the HSE is a critical component of maintaining a safe and productive environment.

Onsite first aid training in Cambridge — we come to your workplace
Our trainers regularly deliver on-site First Aid at Work courses across Cambridge and Cambridgeshire — the Cambridge Science Park, the Cambridge Biomedical Campus (including Addenbrooke's), West Cambridge, Granta Park, Babraham Research Campus, the Cambridge Research Park (Waterbeach), St John's Innovation Park, Histon, Impington, Cherry Hinton, Trumpington, Ely, Newmarket, St Ives, Huntingdon, Saffron Walden, Royston, Haverhill and St Neots. The 3-day First Aid at Work course is the right choice for higher-risk workplaces — life-sciences and biotech laboratories with elevated hazards, R&D engineering workshops, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution along the A14, construction projects and large healthcare settings — where the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate is not enough under your HSE first-aid needs assessment.
