First aid training across Greater Liverpool and surrounding areas

Our trainers run public Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid and Mental Health First Aid courses at central Liverpool venues throughout the year — with on-site delivery available anywhere across the wider region. Whether you're booking a single seat or training a whole team, you'll get a practical, HSE-aligned session led by an experienced instructor.

We support employers, schools, nurseries, charities and event organisers right across Greater Liverpool, from city-centre offices to industrial sites on the outskirts. On-site team training keeps your people in their own environment, cuts travel time to zero and works out significantly cheaper per person than sending staff to public courses — ideal for groups of six or more.

Why Train in Liverpool?

Liverpool sits at the heart of the Liverpool City Region — a regional economy of over 1.5 million people spanning the city, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens, Halton and the Wirral. The compliance burden on local employers is significant: NHS trusts, two universities, the Port of Liverpool, Jaguar Land Rover at Halewood, Liverpool ONE and the Albert Dock hospitality scene all need a steady supply of certified first aiders under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981. Choosing a Liverpool training provider keeps travel time and downtime to a minimum, and means your team trains close to the workplace they will be delivering first aid in.

As a major economic centre in North West England, Liverpool's diverse economy spans from global shipping and logistics to pioneering life sciences in the Knowledge Quarter. This breadth of commercial activity means businesses of all types must have an appropriate number of qualified first aiders to comply with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

Getting here

Liverpool is served by Liverpool Lime Street mainline station (direct intercity services to Manchester, Birmingham and London Euston) and the Merseyrail network through Liverpool Central, James Street and Moorfields. Road links include the M62, M57 and M58 motorways, and the Queensway and Kingsway tunnels under the Mersey to the Wirral. Liverpool John Lennon Airport sits at Speke to the south. Our city-centre venue is a short walk from Lime Street and within minutes of the Merseyrail underground stations.

Book your First Aid at Work Requalification in Liverpool. This 2-day, 12-hour HSE-aligned refresher course renews your existing 3-day First Aid at Work certificate for a further 3 years. Suitable for first aiders in higher-risk workplaces across the Liverpool City Region — automotive (JLR Halewood), port and freight at the Port of Liverpool, warehousing along the M62/M57/M58, manufacturing, construction, hospitality, healthcare and large offices. HSE recommends sitting the requalification before your current FAW certificate expires, with an annual half-day refresher in between. Public courses run at our Liverpool training venue with good public transport and parking; we also deliver on-site group requalification across Bootle, Crosby, Speke, Halewood, St Helens, Knowsley, Sefton, the Wirral, Birkenhead, Kirkby and Huyton. Learners revisit the primary survey, CPR and AED use, choking, severe bleeding and shock, burns, fractures, head and spinal injuries, chest/abdominal/pelvic injuries, poisoning, anaphylaxis, asthma, diabetic emergencies, seizures and unresponsive casualty management, with continuous practical assessment and short written question papers. Once requalified, your team stays First Aid at Work qualified — a workplace certificate accepted by HSE, CQC, Ofsted and Liverpool employers.
