First aid training across Greater Liverpool and surrounding areas
Our trainers run public Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid and Mental Health First Aid courses at central Liverpool venues throughout the year — with on-site delivery available anywhere across the wider region. Whether you're booking a single seat or training a whole team, you'll get a practical, HSE-aligned session led by an experienced instructor.
We support employers, schools, nurseries, charities and event organisers right across Greater Liverpool, from city-centre offices to industrial sites on the outskirts. On-site team training keeps your people in their own environment, cuts travel time to zero and works out significantly cheaper per person than sending staff to public courses — ideal for groups of six or more.
Why undertake your EFAW training in Liverpool?
Liverpool sits at the heart of the Liverpool City Region — a regional economy of over 1.5 million people spanning the city, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens, Halton and the Wirral. The compliance burden on local employers is significant: NHS trusts, two universities, the Port of Liverpool, Jaguar Land Rover at Halewood, Liverpool ONE and the Albert Dock hospitality scene all need a steady supply of certified first aiders under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981. Choosing a Liverpool training provider keeps travel time and downtime to a minimum, and means your team trains close to the workplace they will be delivering first aid in.
As a major economic centre in North West England, Liverpool's diverse economy spans from global shipping and logistics to pioneering life sciences in the Knowledge Quarter. This breadth of commercial activity means businesses of all types must have an appropriate number of qualified first aiders to comply with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

About Emergency First Aid at Work training in Liverpool
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training in Liverpool runs from the British Red Cross Centre on Bradbury House, L3 4BJ, in the heart of the city centre. The venue is a short walk from Liverpool Lime Street mainline station and well served by Merseyrail via Liverpool Central and James Street, making it easy to reach for learners travelling in from across Merseyside, the Wirral, Sefton and Knowsley. The Emergency First Aid at Work course is a one-day, HSE-aligned course covering the core life-saving skills a workplace first aider needs: the primary survey (DR ABC), adult CPR and AED use, the recovery position, choking, serious bleeding and shock, minor injuries, and how to assess and respond to an unresponsive casualty. The day is hands-on throughout, with practical assessment built into the session rather than a separate exam, and learners leave with a nationally recognised certificate valid for three years. We also deliver on-site EFAW group training anywhere across the Liverpool City Region and wider Merseyside — including Bootle, Crosby, Speke, Halewood, St Helens, Knowsley, Sefton and the Wirral, plus industrial sites around the Port of Liverpool and along the M62, M57 and M58 corridors. On-site delivery is typically more cost-effective than public courses for teams of six or more, and we can tailor scenarios to your industry (logistics, manufacturing, hospitality, retail, education, healthcare or office environments).
