First aid training across Greater Basingstoke and surrounding areas
Our trainers run public Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid and Mental Health First Aid courses at central Basingstoke venues throughout the year — with on-site delivery available anywhere across the wider region. Whether you're booking a single seat or training a whole team, you'll get a practical, HSE-aligned session led by an experienced instructor.
We support employers, schools, nurseries, charities and event organisers right across Greater Basingstoke, from city-centre offices to industrial sites on the outskirts. On-site team training keeps your people in their own environment, cuts travel time to zero and works out significantly cheaper per person than sending staff to public courses — ideal for groups of six or more.
Why undertake EFAW training in Basingstoke?
Basingstoke is one of the largest commercial centres in North Hampshire, sitting directly on the M3 with a mix of major head-office, R&D, technology, professional services, retail, hospitality and logistics employers concentrated around Chineham Park, Basing View, Houndmills and Daneshill. Training Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) locally — at The Hampshire Court Hotel on Centre Drive (RG24 8FY), in the heart of Chineham Park — keeps staff off the M3 to London or Southampton, saves travel time, and lets us deliver on-site closed courses for groups of 6 or more across the wider RG postcode area.
As a major economic hub in Hampshire, Basingstoke hosts a large number of corporate headquarters and technology firms. For these businesses, ensuring adequate first-aid provision under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 is a critical part of their operational and legal framework.

About Emergency First Aid at Work training in Basingstoke
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) training in Basingstoke is delivered at The Hampshire Court Hotel on Centre Drive (RG24 8FY), a four-star hotel conference venue at the heart of Chineham Park with free on-site parking, accessible classrooms and the Centre Court bus stop a 4-minute walk away. The 1-day, 6-hour course is a recognised course, aligned with the Health and Safety Executive's First Aid at Work guidance, and awards a 3-year nationally recognised certificate. It is the right course for low-risk workplaces — offices, R&D and lab teams, retail, hospitality, gyms, salons, schools and community settings — across Basingstoke, Tadley, Hook, Hartley Wintney, Alton, Andover, Whitchurch and the wider M3 / North Hampshire commuter belt. The course is delivered by experienced instructors and covers the primary survey (DR ABC), unresponsive casualty management and the recovery position, adult CPR with AED familiarisation, choking in adults, control of bleeding and shock, burns and scalds, minor injuries and seizures. Assessment is practical and continuous — there is no formal written exam — so candidates are signed off on observed competence at the end of the day. We can also deliver EFAW on-site for groups across Chineham Park, Basing View, Houndmills Industrial Estate, Daneshill Industrial Estate, Viables Business Park, Sherborne St John, AWE Aldermaston, the Festival Place office core, and the M3 / A33 / A339 logistics corridors. Public Basingstoke courses run regularly through the year and are typically booked by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust staff, Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council teams, the major Chineham Park employers, retailers around Festival Place and the Top of Town, hotel and F&B teams, primary and secondary school staff, and warehouse / logistics operators along the M3. For groups of 6 or more it is normally more cost-effective to book a closed in-house course at your own premises — we can travel anywhere across the RG postcode area and into West Surrey and North Hampshire. The qualification, certificate and assessment standard are identical to the public course.
